FAQ

1.) THis is my first photoshoot, what do i need to know?

First off, don't stress! I will guide you through everything... from what to wear, to how to pose, to just being comfortable in front of the camera. My sessions are super relaxed and focused on capturing you as you are. We'll laugh, move around, and make it feel more like hanging out rather than being photographed.

2.)Do you offer payment plans?

YES! I get that photography is an investment, and I want to be able to work with you without you feeling the financial burden. For any session with an investment over $500, I offer payment plans. A small deposit will secure your date, and the remaining balance can be split into manageable payments leading up to your shoot. I’m happy to chat with you to find a plan that fits your budget so you can focus on enjoying your session and the experience, rather than worrying about finances.

3.) What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?

If the weather isn't ideal, we will just reschedule! I keep a few backup dates available, just in case. Although, if it is just a little rain drizzle... I will ask not to reschedule. (I have a super cute umbrella, that I have been dying to use and I think it will be super cute in your photos.)

4.) How long will it take to get my photos?

For all Seniors, Couples, Family, and any other session my turnaround time 1-2 weeks. Weddings will be delivered within 4-5 weeks. Please be patient if it is taking longer, I am human & life stuff still happens to me too :)

5.) Do you travel for sessions?

Absolutely! I will never say no to traveling. Travel within 40 miles of Wahpeton, North Dakota is included in my standard packages, for locations outside of this area, there may be a small traveling fee to cover mileage. I will always discuss any fees upfront so there are no surprises!

6.)How many photos will i get back from my session/how will photos be DELIVERED?

You will receive an unlimited number of photos in your gallery. Yes, unlimited! You invest time and money into your sessions, and I don't believe in just sending you a couple of photos from it. No watermarks, and no paying for additional photos.

The photos will be delivered through an online gallery, which will have a link that I send via email/text (whichever we choose to communicate through.) From there you can download your photos, share the link with family/friends, and share to social media!

7.) Can I share my photos on social media/will i have full ownership of photos?

Yes, absolutely! Once you receive your final gallery, you're more than  welcome to share your photos on social media and print them for personal use. I just ask that you credit or tag me when posting online, it helps support my business and allows others to find my work.


Please note that as the photographer, I retain the copyright to the images, which simply means I can use them for my portfolio or marketing unless you request otherwise! (Which will be talked about.) As mentioned above, you’ll have full personal usage rights to download, share, and print your photos as much as you’d like.

8.) Can I see/purchase the unedited (RAW) Photos?

I totally get the curiosity! But...I don’t send unedited or RAW photos because editing is where I really bring your images to life it’s where the colors, lighting, and overall vibe come together to match my style.. You’ll receive a full gallery of the best images, all carefully edited and ready to share, print, and love.

Start out by reaching out through my contact form or email with a few details about what you're looking for. I'll get back to you with package options, availability, and answers to any questions you may have.

STEP 02

 

Let's plan your session

Once you have chosen your package, we'll schedule your date and plan the details: location, outfit ideas, the vibe you're going for, and any must-have shots.

STEP 03

 

Secure your session

To officially reserve your session, a signed contract and a small deposit are required. For sessions over $500, I offer flexible payment plans to make things easy & stress-free. Once that is taken care of,  your session date is locked in!

STEP 04

 

Shoot Day!

This is where it gets fun. I'll guide you through poses, help you feel comfortable, and make sure we capture a mixture of candid and posed shots that feel like you. Expect a relaxed, enjoyable experience... No stiff or awkward moments!

Sneak Peeks & Gallery Delievery

Within 24-48 hours after your session, you will receive a sneak peek of your photos. Your full gallery will be delivered digitally within the respected turnaround time, filled with carefully edited, high-resolution images ready to share, print, and cherish.
